Taking it easy from a weekend of gigging before starting another weekend of gigging. I have been re-evaluating my playing after watching a Ray Brown Masterclass video a few months back. He found these holes in the students' playing, stuff that I have heard plenty of times before. But this time it lit a spark within me. I am again finding the joy of being solid and laying down a bass line with unmovable foundation.

If you have about a half hour free, I recommend viewing this.
I also had the pleasure of finding a record shop up the street. Came home with The Who "Live at Leeds" and the Oscar Peterson Trio's "Something Warm." The vinyl are in pretty good shape, its nice to have that record quality again.
